Bayer Leverkusen continued their campaign to defend their German Cup title, beating Bayern Munich at home (1-0) in the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening in the round of 16.
Bayer Leverkusen owes its victory to its English striker Nathan Tella, who scored the only winning goal in the 69th minute of the match that took place at the "Allianz Arena" stadium.
Bayern Munich received a severe blow early in the 17th minute of the first half, when its giant goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was sent off, and his team was eliminated from the local cup competition in the round of sixteen.
