Manchester City has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt striker, during the current winter transfer market.
Transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt's forward Omar Marmoush to Manchester City in the winter Mercato.
According to Romano, Guardiola sees Marmoush as the ideal player to replace Julian Alvarez, who left Manchester City in the summer Mercato last year and moved to Atletico Madrid. He explained on Instagram: "Marmoush wants to join Manchester City, and verbal negotiations are underway with Eintracht Frankfurt, which are progressing significantly in the hope of completing the official agreement next week."
This comes after Manchester City agreed 100% to all personal terms by Omar Marmoush and therefore wants to conclude negotiations with Frankfurt as soon as possible. The Eintracht Frankfurt management request no less than 80 million euros in exchange for allowing Omar Marmoush to leave this winter.
The current contract of Omar Marmoush, 25, with Eintracht Frankfurt is scheduled to end on June 30, 2027, and his contract does not contain a penalty clause.
