Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, responded to the reports of his team's quest to sign Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt playe, during the current winter transfer period.
In response to a question about his satisfaction with the winter Mercato and whether he expects to include an Egyptian star, Guardiola said: "I don't know."
Regarding his team's falling into the trap of a draw against Brentford in the 21st round of the English Premier League: "We did not kill the match well, and it seems that our readiness is not at its best."
He continued: "We got a point and we must think about the future."Regarding his discussion with Manchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega after the match: "I was not angry with him, but I thanked him and assured him that he is a good goalkeeper."
Manchester City tied with Brentford with two goals for each team. Manchester City remained in sixth place with 35 points, while Brentford is in tenth place with 28 points.
