Arsenal achieved a valuable victory over Tottenham (2-1) in the "North London Derby" that brought them together on Wednesday evening, at the conclusion of the 21st round of the English Premier League.
South Korean striker Heung-Min Son opened the scoring for the guests after 25 minutes. Arsenal responded by scoring two consecutive goals, the first of which came from "friendly fire" scored by English defender Dominic Solanke in the 40th minute, an own goal.
Belgian striker Leandro Trossard scored the second goal in the last minute of the match that took place at the "Emirates" stadium in the capital, London.
Arsenal raised its score after this victory to 43 points and occupies the second place in the Premier League standings, four points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a postponed match.
In contrast, Tottenham Hotspur's tally stopped at 30 points, and it occupies the ninth place on the standings.
