According to confirmed press reports, Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt player, has arrived in the UK, to undergo a medical and sign for Manchester City. Omar Marmoush will sign in the next 24 hours. "He will join Manchester City 100%", according to transfers expert Fabrizio Romano.
Omar Marmoush was absent from histeam's Friday's match after the club confirmed its negotiations with Manchester City regarding the transfer of the Egyptian striker during the current Mercato.
The Egyptian star was keen to bid farewell to the fans of his club, Eintracht Frankfurt, after facing Borussia Dortmund in the German League, as he entered the field and shook hands with all the team's players and went to the fans to bid farewell before leaving for Manchester City, where signs of emotion and crying appeared on him.
The Egyptian striker will sign a contract until 2030 worth €16-17m per year and will be Manchester City's third major signing of the January transfer window alongside Lens' Abdulkadir Khusanov and Palmeiras youngster Victor Reis.
