A state of mystery surrounds the future of the relationship between Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, and his wife Cristina Serra after news of their separation made headlines in newspapers and social media last week. The wife of the Spaniard Pep Guardiola (54 years old) was seen shopping in the streets of the Spanish city of Barcelona wearing a wedding ring, which raised doubts about the rumor of her separation from the coach.
Serra did not shy away when a journalist asked her about their relationship, as she answered: "I am fine, thank you," stressing that "everything is fine," but she remained silent when asked about the reasons for the circulated separation, which indicate her dissatisfaction with Guardiola's decision to extend his contract with Manchester City and stay in England for another two years.
Guardiola was also seen wearing his wedding ring during the Manchester City and Chelsea match in the English Premier League, which raised more questions about the truth of the separation, and whether it is an actual separation or just rumors.
It is worth noting that Guardiola and Serra married in 2014 after a long relationship that began in 1989, and they have three children. The couple lived in Barcelona and Munich before moving to Manchester in 2016 when the Spanish coach took over the training of Manchester City.
