Barcelona will meet Valencia tonight, Thursday, in the 2025 Spanish King's Cup at the "Mestalla" stadium. Barcelona qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Real Betis 5-1, while Valencia overcame Orense 2-0. The last confrontation between the two teams witnessed a stunning victory for Barcelona over Valencia 7-1, in the Spanish League, La Liga, in round 21.
Barcelona coach Hans Flick confirmed in his statements that Gavi will not participate in the match due to his head injury during the last match against Alaves in the Spanish League, and he also indicated that Dani Olmo may participate in the second half of the match and will be an option for the team against Valencia.
