Argentine star Lionel Messi led his team Inter Miami to an important 3-1 victory over Kansas City in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Round of 32, which was held at the "Kansas City" stadium. Messi scored the first goal for his team, Tadeo Allende added the second, before Luis Suarez scored the third goal in the last minute of the first half.
In the second half, Kansas City tried to return to the match by scoring the reducing goal through Memo Rodriguez in the 63rd minute but it was Kansas' only goal of the match.
It is worth noting that the first leg between the two teams, which was held at the "Kansas City" stadium, had ended with Inter Miami winning 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Messi. Thus, Inter Miami qualified for the round of 16 with a 4-1 aggregate score, to face the Cavalier team from Jamaica on March 5 and 12.
