Juventus continued their winning streak in the Italian League, Series A, achieving a remarkable fifth consecutive victory at the expense of Hellas Verona with two goals without a response in a match held on Monday, at the conclusion of the 27th round of the "Calcio".
Juventus scored the lead goal in the 72nd minute after a cross that French midfielder Khephren Thuram converted with a wonderful shot into the net. Dutchman Teun Koopmeiners added the second goal in the 90th minute, securing the victory and the three points for the "Old Lady".
With this result, Juventus raised its score to 52 points to regain fourth place qualifying for the Champions League, and reduce the gap with league leaders Inter Milan to six points.
On the other hand, Verona's score stopped at 26 points in fourteenth place.
