The England national team defeated Latvia 3-0 in the second round of European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup on Monday evening. Reece James, Harry Kane, and Eberechi Eze scored three goals for the Three Lions (38th, 68th, 76th), respectively, in the match at Wembley Stadium in London.
England achieved their second consecutive victory in the qualifiers under the leadership of new German coach Thomas Tuchel, following their first victory over Albania (2-0), and now sits atop Group K with six points.
Latvia, on the other hand, remains at three points, currently occupying third place in the standings.
