Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Saudi Al-Nasr football team, stated that marriage to his girlfriend, model Georgina Rodriguez, is inevitable, but he is waiting for the perfect timing. Ronaldo, 40, has been in a relationship with Georgina, 31, since 2016. She has two daughters, seven-year-old Alana and two-year-old Bella, and she also cares for his three other children with two unidentified women.
In an interview on her Netflix reality show, "I Am Georgina," Ronaldo said, "I always tell her: When we reach that moment, like with everything in our lives, and she knows what I'm talking about, it could be in a year, it could be in six months, it could be in a month, but I am 1,000 percent sure it will happen."
In contrast, Georgina admitted on her reality show, "I Am Georgina," that she always receives questions from her friends about when the wedding will take place.
She said, "They joke a lot and ask me about the wedding. Some of them even sing Jennifer Lopez's song (Ring When?) as a hint, but I always tell them it's not up to me."
Despite the ambiguity of the official position, Georgina and Ronaldo never miss an opportunity to confirm the depth of their relationship. The latest such occasion was on Georgina's birthday, when Ronaldo shared a photo of them from the gym and wrote, "To my mother, partner, friend, and wife, happy birthday, my love."
