Press reports have revealed the possibility of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane returning to the English Premier League two years after joining the Bavarians. According to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, Liverpool would be an ideal destination for England star and captain Harry Kane if he wishes to leave Bayern Munich during the next summer transfer window.
Liverpool has been searching for a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is likely to leave at the end of the season, despite the club's attempts to extend his contract beyond June 30. Metro also reported that Harry Kane is attracting interest within Liverpool, as the club sees him as a potential major reinforcement for their attacking line.
Reports indicate that Kane has a release clause in his contract that will be reduced to £54 million next January, allowing him to leave for any other club if he wishes.
Kane is having a fantastic season with Bayern Munich, scoring 32 goals and providing 11 assists in 37 matches across all competitions. His team is competing for the Bundesliga and Champions League titles this season.
