Inter Milan squandered two valuable points in their quest to consolidate their lead in Serie A and move a step closer to retaining the title after being held to a 2-2 draw with Parma in the 31st round of the competition. Matteo Darmian put Inter ahead in the 15th minute, before teammate Marcus Thuram added the second goal in the final minute of the first half.
Adrián Bernabé scored Parma's first goal in the 60th minute, and Jacopo Ondrea equalized nine minutes later. Inter Milan now sits in first place with 68 points, four points ahead of Napoli, who play Bologna on Monday in the same round.
Parma, on the other hand, moved up to 16th place with 27 points.
