Spanish media reports have revealed that Manchester City are close to submitting a huge and historic offer to sign Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to the Spanish network "Fichajes," the offer submitted by Manchester City is estimated at €275 million, a figure that could become a reality if accepted. It would also be the most expensive in football history to date, surpassing the €222 million transfer of Brazilian Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Lamine Yamal, 17, is one of the most prominent rising stars in world football, having scored 13 goals and provided 20 assists in 42 matches in all competitions this season, making him a target for several major clubs in Europe.
