A British newspaper revealed the terms of the new contract that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah intends to sign with his club Liverpool. This development comes after weeks of speculation about the player's future, especially as his current contract is set to expire next summer.
According to the British newspaper "The Sun," Mohamed Salah is on the verge of signing a "stunning" new contract with Liverpool worth a total of £42 million (equivalent to $54 million) in wages over the term of the contract. The new contract will extend until 2027 and will make Salah one of the highest-paid players in Premier League history, earning £400,000 per week, a significant increase from his current salary of £350,000 per week.
The renewal decision ends the debate surrounding Salah's future, which has been the focus of attention for many international clubs, including Saudi clubs, which have expressed strong interest in signing him at the end of the current season.
Mohamed Salah has participated in 45 matches in all competitions with Liverpool this season, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists.
