Marcus Thuram Scores Record Breaking Goal Against Barcelona


French striker Marcus Thuram, Inter Milan's striker, made Champions League history by opening the scoring for his team against Barcelona within seconds of the start of the match. Thuram scored Inter Milan's opening goal just 30 seconds after the start of the match in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

According to the Statsroom, football statistics engine, this goal is considered the fastest goal in the history of Champions League semi-final matches.

On the other hand, Statsroom noted that Inter Milan has not lost a Champions League match this season in which they succeeded in scoring the first goal, winning all nine matches in which they have scored early.
