The 21st edition of the 2025 Club World Cup, the first in its new format with 32 teams, hosted by the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025 has concluded with Chelsea FC winning the title against Paris Saint-Germain FC, defeating them 3-0 in the final match held on Sunday evening at MetLife Stadium. A result that not many experts expected, an upset considering the UEFA Conference League Champions defeated the UEFA Champions League reigning champions.
Despite losing the final, French prodigy Desiree Doue, PSG winger, won best young player of the tournament. Breakthrough star of the tournament, Real Madrid's Gonzalo Garcia, won the Top Scorer.

Golden Glove: Robert Sanchez, Chelsea goalkeeper.
Player of the Tournament: Cole Palmer, Chelsea striker.
Young Player of the Tournament: Desiree Doué, Paris Saint-Germain player.
Fair Play Award: Bayern Munich.
