Liverpool have reached an initial agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the transfer of striker Hugo Ekitike to the Reds.
Liverpool is close to finalizing a deal for Hugo Ekitike after submitting a new offer. According to reports, the 23-year-old Ekitike will sign a six-year contract with Liverpool.
The offer being discussed between the two clubs includes a package worth up to €90 million, including add-ons and incentives. Paris Saint-Germain has already exercised an option to buy Ekitike in the summer of 2023 for €35 million.
However, the French striker did not get his chance and left on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt in February 2024. He shone with the team, and the German club finally signed him permanently in the summer of the same year for €16.5 million.
According to Statstriker, Ekitike played 64 matches with Eintracht Frankfurt in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and providing 14 assists.
