Liverpool is preparing for a strong and important match against its long-standing rival, Spanish club Athletic Bilbao, in a friendly match in preparation for the start of the next football season

In their preseason, Liverpool beat Preston 3-1 in a friendly before winning 5-0 against Stoke City, and then lost to AC Milan 4-2. Liverpool also defeated Japanese team Yokohama FC 3-1 last Wednesday.
Liverpool will begin the new season with a Community Shield match against Crystal Palace next Sunday at Wembley Stadium, before the first round of the English Premier League match against Bournemouth on August 15.
