Kane Hat-Trick Powers Bayern Past Hoffenheim to Maintain Perfect Start

Harry Kane produced another ruthless display in front of goal, scoring three times to help Bayern Munich overcome Hoffenheim and continue their perfect run in the Bundesliga.

The England striker, now 32, gave Bayern the lead just before half-time with a well-timed finish from a rehearsed corner move.

He struck again shortly after the restart, converting a penalty following a handball decision against Albian Hajdari that left Hoffenheim frustrated.

Kane completed his treble midway through the second half, coolly dispatching another spot-kick after VAR confirmed a foul on substitute Michael Olise.

The hat-trick was Kane’s ninth in Germany’s top flight and pushed his tally to 13 goals in only seven appearances across competitions this season.

Fresh from scoring twice in the Champions League against Chelsea earlier in the week, he has made a flying start to life in Munich.

“I’ve been called Hat-trick Harry since school,” Kane joked in his post-match interview.

“Anytime the ball drops in the box, I believe I’ll put it away—penalty or not.”

Hoffenheim still caused problems, especially in the opening period.

Fisnik Asllani almost punished a loose pass from Manuel Neuer but struck the post, while former West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal pulled one back with a deflected free-kick.

Luis Díaz went close to continuing his scoring streak but clipped the crossbar late on.

Bayern, however, had the final say when Serge Gnabry fired in stoppage time after Oliver Baumann had initially denied Joshua Kimmich.

It was a tough outing for Nicolas Jackson, making his first start since joining on loan from Chelsea.

The Senegalese forward struggled to influence play and was replaced after the hour mark.

Bayern’s victory, built once again on Kane’s clinical edge, highlighted their growing momentum as they push for both domestic and European dominance.
