Bayern eye Guehi move, Palace prepare new Wharton deal, Napoli target Mainoo loan

Bayern Munich are considering a move for Crystal Palace and England defender Marc Guehi, 25, who is out of contract at the end of the season. The centre-back was close to joining Liverpool on deadline day before the move fell through.

Crystal Palace are preparing to offer Adam Wharton a new contract in an effort to fend off interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City in the 21-year-old England midfielder.

Napoli are leading the race to sign Kobbie Mainoo on loan in January. The 20-year-old Manchester United and England midfielder has been on the Serie A side’s radar since the summer, with regular contact maintained between the clubs.

Eintracht Frankfurt are targeting a January loan deal for William Osula, the 22-year-old Danish striker currently at Newcastle.

Nottingham Forest view Marco Silva as a long-term managerial target if they part ways with Ange Postecoglou, although any move for the Fulham boss is unlikely before the end of the season.

Manchester United are hopeful that Lisandro Martinez, 27, will return before the end of the year following an ACL injury that has sidelined the Argentine defender for eight months.

Barcelona could make a move next summer for Karim Adeyemi, 23, with the Germany forward under contract at Borussia Dortmund until 2027.

Manchester City have made it clear they will not sell Spain midfielder Rodri, 29, to Real Madrid at any price.

United also view Unai Emery as the ideal replacement for Ruben Amorim should they decide to part ways with the Portuguese coach.

Real Madrid are unlikely to approve a January departure for Arda Guler, 20, despite interest from Arsenal and Newcastle in the Turkey midfielder.

Barcelona and Juventus are planning moves for Bernardo Silva, 31, whose contract with Manchester City runs until 2026, while Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Nassr are preparing lucrative offers for the Portugal international.
