Brazilian winger Rodrygo Goes gave an interview to the Spanish newspaper "AS", in which he spoke about many secrets and the behind-the-scenes story of his move to the royal team. Rodrygo expressed his great love for Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, the current captain of Al-Nassr and former Real Madrid player, emphasizing that he has been a fan of the team since childhood due to his love for "Don."
Rodrygo also spoke about the secret behind keeping a Real Madrid shirt since childhood, saying: "My father gave it to me, and since then I have been immersed in the team, the club, and its achievements."
He added: "I started following them, especially with the arrival of the legend Cristiano Ronaldo. I used to follow all Real Madrid matches passionately simply because he was in Brazil. I am a Santos fan, but I have always loved Real Madrid since I was young."
Real Madrid announced the signing of the Brazilian star for €45 million, with him joining the team the following year.
He won several titles with Real Madrid, including the Champions League twice and the Spanish League three times.
It is worth noting that Rodrygo's contract with Real Madrid expires in 2028, and his release clause is worth one billion euros.
