The future of Brazilian star Vinicius Junior is causing controversy at Real Madrid due to his contract expiring in the summer of 2027. Earlier media reports had linked the Real Madrid star to several professional clubs, most notably Al-Ahli Saudi FC, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.
According to reports seen by the Statsroom Chelsea is prepared to make Vinicius Junior their record signing with an offer of approximately €150 million, a sum Real Madrid might accept given that the player has one year remaining on his contract.
The English team already boasts Brazilian international William Estevão on the right wing and Brazilian João Pedro in the center forward position, and aims to acquire the Real Madrid star on the left wing to complete their Brazilian national team attack. The report indicated that this move reflects a growing conviction within the technical staff that combining these three players could forge a new identity for the club under a long-term project.
It is worth noting that negotiations to renew Vinicius Junior's contract with Real Madrid have stalled due to financial demands.
Real Madrid's management aims to renew the contract before the end of the current season or sell him next summer, despite the player's insistence on his desire to stay and achieve success.
