Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah was sent off during his country's match against Oman on Friday, in the second round of the group stage of the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar. Hamdallah's dismissal came after a violent tackle on Omani defender Hani Al-Rushaidi in the 53rd minute of the match, which took place at Education City Stadium in Qatar.
Reports indicate that the tournament's disciplinary committee is expected to issue a suspension of at least two matches for Hamdallah, given the straight red card, which would prevent him from facing Saudi Arabia in the third round of the tournament.
