French legend Zinedine Zidane reacted with emotion after Algeria scored the winning goal against DR Congo in their Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 match on Tuesday evening. Zidane was spotted with his wife in the stands of the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, watching his son Luca, the Algerian goalkeeper, play against DR Congo.

Zidane has been a regular at Algeria's matches since the start of the tournament in Morocco, supporting his son who chose to represent the "Desert Warriors."

When substitute Adel Boulbina scored the winning goal for Algeria in the 119th minute, cameras captured Zidane's heartfelt reaction as he jumped up in celebration, clapping enthusiastically, a broad smile spreading across his face in celebration of the decisive goal.

Luca Zidane has yet to concede a goal in the tournament, while Algeria has only conceded one goal, which came in the match against Equatorial Guinea, a game in which Zidane's son was absent.

The Algerian national team, two-time African champions, qualified for the quarterfinals and will face a tough challenge against Nigeria, who defeated Mozambique 4-0 on Monday.

The Algeria-Nigeria match is scheduled for next Saturday.
