Saudi reports indicate that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr, will miss his club's match against Neom next Saturday due to a muscle injury. The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadhiah reported that Ronaldo may have to travel to Madrid to consult with his personal physician if necessary, depending on his response to treatment at the club.

Al-Nassr announced on Tuesday via their official X account that medical tests conducted on Cristiano Ronaldo revealed a muscle injury sustained in the team's last match. The club added, "The player will begin a rehabilitation program, during which he will be continuously evaluated until his return to group training."

The Saudi club did not disclose the duration of the Portuguese football legend's rehabilitation program.

It is worth noting that the Portuguese star suffered the muscle injury in the recent match against Al-Fayha.

Al-Nassr, currently leading the league with 61 points, two points ahead of second-placed Al-Ahli, will face Neom next Saturday.

Al-Nassr's match against Al-Wasl of the UAE, originally scheduled for Wednesday in the first leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16, has been postponed after the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) decided to postpone its continental competitions in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
