The first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 (2025-2026) concluded on Wednesday evening with four exciting matches. Wednesday's fixtures began with Arsenal drawing 1-1 against their German hosts, Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, the other two English teams, Manchester City and Chelsea, suffered heavy defeats at the hands of their respective hosts, Real Madrid (0-3) and Paris Saint-Germain (2-5). Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt continued their impressive run in this year's Champions League, defeating Sporting Lisbon 3-0 at home.
