Harry Kane rounded off another remarkable season in style by scoring a hat-trick as Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich swept aside Cologne in their final league match of the campaign.
The England captain’s latest treble was his fourth of the season and took his astonishing tally for club and country to 63 goals in just 55 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign.
Kane has now scored 36 times in 31 Bundesliga outings this season alone.
Bayern, who secured their 35th German title on 19 April, finished the season 16 points clear of Borussia Dortmund and now turn their attention to the German Cup final against Stuttgart on 23 May.
Vincent Kompany’s side dominated domestically throughout the season, losing only once in 34 league matches while scoring an incredible 122 goals.
Kane wasted little time adding to that total at the Allianz Arena, opening the scoring after 10 minutes by volleying home Joshua Kimmich’s flick-on.
The pair combined again just three minutes later when Kimmich rolled a clever free-kick into Kane’s path and the striker drilled a precise finish into the bottom corner.
Cologne briefly threatened a response through Said El Mala, who finished off a swift counter-attack in the 18th minute to reduce the deficit.
But Bayern quickly regained complete control as Tom Bischof restored the hosts’ two-goal cushion with a driven effort from outside the area.
Kane completed his hat-trick midway through the second half with another outstanding finish, smashing home from 25 yards after being teed up by Leon Goretzka.
Bayern added further gloss to the scoreline late on when Liverpool winger Luis Diaz supplied the assist for Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson, who netted the fifth goal in the 83rd minute.
Kane’s latest treble adds to previous Bundesliga hat-tricks this season against RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart, capping a sensational individual campaign for the 32-year-old striker.
