Liverpool Open Talks for Diomande as Arsenal Face PSG Competition
Liverpool have initiated discussions with RB Leipzig over a potential deal for highly rated winger Yan Diomande, while Arsenal are facing competition from Paris Saint-Germain in pursuit of two attacking targets. Meanwhile, Cologne winger Said El Mala is reportedly reluctant to join Brentford.
Liverpool have intensified their interest in Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande after opening talks with RB Leipzig regarding a possible transfer. The Bundesliga club remain determined to keep hold of the highly regarded 19-year-old.
Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring Diomande's situation, with the player understood to favour a move to the French champions should he leave Leipzig.
Arsenal face competition from PSG in their efforts to secure the signatures of Bournemouth's French forward Eli Junior Kroupi, 19, and Atletico Madrid's Argentine striker Julian Alvarez, 26.
Brentford have submitted a €50 million (£43 million) offer for Cologne winger Said El Mala, 19.
However, the German youngster has reportedly informed Brentford that he is not interested in making the move to the Premier League side.
