Liverpool lead Barcola race as Scott eyes Arsenal move, Fernandes set to stay at Man Utd

Liverpool are increasingly confident of winning the race for Bradley Barcola, Alex Scott is leaning towards Arsenal despite Chelsea interest, while Bruno Fernandes is prepared to extend his stay at Manchester United.

Liverpool believe they are in pole position to beat Arsenal and Bayern Munich to the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola after the 23-year-old impressed with four goal contributions for France at this summer's World Cup.

Arsenal are leading Manchester United in the race for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, 22, although the England Under-21 international remains concerned about the amount of first-team football he would receive at the Emirates.

Scott is also open to a move to Chelsea after Bournemouth rejected a £64m offer from the Blues.

Portugal captain Bruno Fernandes, 31, has decided to commit his future to Manchester United, with negotiations over a new contract continuing.

Besiktas are attempting to sign Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock, 26, who is entering the final year of his contract and is not expected to be offered an extension.

Arsenal are prepared to consider offers for captain Martin Odegaard, with the Gunners willing to listen to bids for the 27-year-old Norway international.

Manchester United are exploring a move for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, 23, who was omitted from France's World Cup squad this summer.

Roma have made enquiries over Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi, 28, with the Blues valuing the French defender at around £17m.

Fulham have opened talks with Real Madrid over a potential deal for highly-rated 22-year-old striker Gonzalo Garcia.
