Real Madrid Open to Tchouameni Sale as Manchester United Circle, Arsenal Target Stones and Konsa

Real Madrid are prepared to sell Aurélien Tchouaméni to Manchester United, Arsenal have identified John Stones and Ezri Konsa as defensive targets, Chelsea lead the race for Kerim Alajbegović, Premier League clubs are back in for Yan Diomande, and Daizen Maeda is closing in on a move to Ipswich Town.

  • Real Madrid are open to selling 26-year-old France midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni to Manchester United.
  • Manchester United are also considering Roma and France midfielder Manu Koné, 25, and Brighton's 22-year-old Cameroon international Carlos Baleba as they continue their search for midfield reinforcements.
  • Bournemouth's 27-year-old United States midfielder Tyler Adams, valued at around £35m, is another option under consideration by Michael Carrick's side.
  • Former Manchester City defender John Stones, 32, and Aston Villa's 28-year-old Ezri Konsa have emerged as Arsenal targets following William Saliba's injury, with the Gunners seeking defensive cover.
  • Chelsea are favourites to sign 18-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina attacking midfielder Kerim Alajbegović from Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, the Bundesliga club remain in talks with Crystal Palace over the sale of 28-year-old French defender Axel Disasi.
  • Chelsea have also agreed a deal for 15-year-old American winger Benji Flowers from FC Dallas, with the youngster set to join the club once he turns 18.
  • Arsenal and Manchester City are among the clubs tracking 19-year-old Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, with RB Leipzig's highly rated prospect back on the radar after previously rejecting a £69m bid from Liverpool.
  • Liverpool's 19-year-old England Under-20 defender Amara Nallo is set to join HJK Helsinki on a season-long loan.
  • Celtic and Japan striker Daizen Maeda, 28, is due to undergo a medical on Friday ahead of completing a £10m move to Ipswich Town.
  • Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, 29, is edging closer to a move to MLS side New England Revolution.
  • Everton are interested in signing Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston, 27, after the Canada international impressed at the World Cup. The Toffees view him as a strong replacement following Seamus Coleman's departure.
  • Aston Villa are weighing up a move for Everton and England midfielder James Garner, 25, this summer.
  • Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca remains keen to reunite with 25-year-old Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernández and 23-year-old France full-back Malo Gusto from former club Chelsea.
  • Middlesbrough are close to completing the signing of 25-year-old USA midfielder Sebastian Berhalter from Vancouver Whitecaps in a deal worth around £1.5m.
  • West Ham have drawn up a list of players available for transfer, including Alphonse Areola (33), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (28), Niclas Füllkrug (33) and Edson Álvarez (28). Jean-Clair Todibo, 26, is also understood to be keen to leave the club.
  • The Hammers are also assessing potential replacements, with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, 28, Southampton centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis, 24, and Celtic midfielder Arne Engels, 22, all featuring on their shortlist.
  • Burnley have submitted a loan-to-buy offer for Atlanta United striker Emmanuel Latte Lath, 27. The Ivorian joined the MLS side from Middlesbrough in February 2025 after scoring 27 goals in 59 Championship appearances.
  • Watford are nearing the signing of 27-year-old Argentine midfielder Martín Payero from Udinese. The Hornets are also in talks over deals for Spanish striker Iker Bravo, 21, and Zimbabwe left-back Jordan Zemura, 26, from their sister Serie A club.
  • Charlton Athletic have joined Portsmouth in the race to sign Hull City winger Abu Kamara, 22.
  • Free agent Nathan Redmond is training with Charlton Athletic, although the 32-year-old English winger is not close to agreeing a deal with the League One club.
  • Blackburn Rovers face competition from several Championship rivals in the pursuit of Sunderland midfielder Alan Browne, 31, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough. Boro are not expected to pursue another deal for the Republic of Ireland international.
