The future of Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior at Real Madrid has become uncertain as he enters the final year of his contract with the Spanish club.
Spanish sources reported that Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez has set a single, non-negotiable condition for Vinícius's departure: any offer—comprising the fixed fee and add-ons—must reach €160 million; if the proposed amount falls short of this figure, the club will refuse to even enter into negotiations.
This development unfolds amidst a strained relationship between the club and the player—whose contract runs until the end of June 2027—as extension talks have stalled for months. Meanwhile, *The Athletic* has reported that England's Arsenal is keen to sign the player, viewing him as a prime candidate to bolster their attack.
Spanish reports indicate that Arsenal's interest in the Brazilian star remains in the preliminary stages; the English club is unlikely to make a move unless it becomes certain that he will not renew his contract with Real Madrid. Vinícius is considered a key figure for Arsenal's project and their Spanish manager, Mikel Arteta, boasting a record of 128 goals and 100 assists at just 26 years of age.
