Jamal Musiala Returns to Bayern Training After On-Field Collapse

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has returned to individual training after collapsing on the pitch following Saturday's 3-1 friendly victory over RB Leipzig.

The 23-year-old Germany international required medical attention after falling to the ground at the end of the match in Munich, which was played in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.

Musiala reportedly experienced dizziness and circulatory problems and felt feverish following the game.

Musiala Resumes Individual Training

Musiala did not participate in Bayern's open team training session on Monday. However, he completed an individual session earlier in the day at the club's Saebener Strasse training base.

The midfielder underwent medical tests following Saturday's incident and is now working towards a return to full training.

German media reports suggest Musiala could rejoin his Bayern team-mates later this week, potentially putting him in contention for Saturday's Supercup clash away to Borussia Dortmund.

Musiala Working Back After Injury-Hit Season

Musiala's latest setback comes after a difficult 2025-26 campaign in which he missed the opening six months of the season with a broken ankle suffered at the Club World Cup.

The former Chelsea academy player eventually returned to action and was recalled to Germany's squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Germany's tournament ended in disappointment, however, as they were eliminated by Paraguay in the last 32.

Bayern will now closely manage Musiala's return as they prepare for their Supercup meeting with Borussia Dortmund.
