Real Madrid kicked off their 2026–2027 UEFA Champions League campaign with a 2–1 victory over visiting Inter Milan on Tuesday evening. The Galactico's two goals were scored by Frenchman Kylian Mbappé and Uruguayan Federico Valverde in the 14th and 23rd minutes, respectively.
Brazilian player Carlos Augusto scored the Italian side's lone goal in the 77th minute of the match, which was held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid.
According to the draw, Real Madrid is also set to face the following opponents during the Champions League league phase: PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig, LASK, Arsenal, Roma, Shakhtar Donetsk, and AEK Athens.
