Cristiano Ronaldo moved another step closer to the historic 1,000-goal milestone after scoring a stunning hat-trick in Al-Nassr's thrilling 5-3 victory over Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League.
The 41-year-old Portuguese superstar took his remarkable career tally to 985 goals, leaving him just 15 away from becoming the first player to reach 1,000 official senior career goals.
With the match level at 2-2 following goals from Angelo Gabriel and Sadio Mane for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo delivered a decisive second-half performance, scoring three times in just 15 minutes to secure victory.
Portugal team-mate Joao Felix played a crucial role in the result, registering four assists, including two for Ronaldo.
Ronaldo's latest treble marked the 67th hat-trick of his extraordinary career, further underlining his remarkable goalscoring consistency across more than two decades at the highest level.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has now scored seven hat-tricks for Al-Nassr since joining the Saudi Arabian club.

Ronaldo's latest performance highlights his continued importance to Al-Nassr as the club looks to defend its Saudi Pro League title.
With 985 career goals, Ronaldo is now within touching distance of a milestone that would further cement his place among football's greatest goalscorers.
The Portugal captain has enjoyed an exceptional career, winning domestic league titles in England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
He also holds the record as the all-time leading goalscorer in men's international football, adding to an extensive collection of individual and team honours.
Despite turning 41, Ronaldo continues to deliver decisive performances for Al-Nassr, demonstrating the finishing ability that has defined his career.
Ronaldo has spent almost four years at Al-Nassr and has one year remaining on his current contract.
However, questions surrounding his long-term future remain after he suggested in August that this could be his final season as a professional footballer.
The Portuguese forward described it as "probably" his last year playing, raising the possibility that his pursuit of 1,000 career goals could coincide with the closing stages of his playing career.
Nevertheless, his latest hat-trick suggests he remains capable of competing at a high level as he approaches another historic achievement.
Ronaldo's goals also provided a significant boost to Al-Nassr's Saudi Pro League title ambitions.
The defending champions currently sit second in the standings, behind league leaders Al-Qadsiah, but have a game in hand.
Their 5-3 victory over Al-Kholood keeps the pressure on their title rivals as they look to retain the championship.
With Ronaldo continuing to find the net and Joao Felix providing creativity in attack, Al-Nassr will be confident of maintaining their challenge at the top of the table.
For Ronaldo, the immediate objective remains helping his team secure victories, but the prospect of reaching 1,000 career goals is becoming increasingly realistic.
