Flick does not rely on him much
Iván de la Peña, the agent of Barcelona star Gavi, has responded to reports suggesting the midfielder might depart during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The difficult situation facing the La Masia graduate—marked by limited playing time—has fueled speculation about his future, with some reports indicating he is unhappy with his diminished role.
Recent reports have even suggested that Napoli might offer an exit route for the player.
However, Gavi’s representative has stated that he has not held negotiations with any club and that the Spanish midfielder will remain at Barcelona.
"I haven't negotiated with anyone," De la Peña said. "Gavi is staying."
Despite regaining full fitness and overcoming his injury issues, Gavi has managed only eight appearances this season, starting in just two of them.
Now, however, Rodri’s injury has opened a door for the 22-year-old to reclaim a prominent position within the Catalan side.
